Teammate of the week
Every week, coaches pick the players who were the best teammates. By the end of the season, every kid gets their moment.
How it works
It happens every week, at every game, in every sport.
- Step 1
Coaches watch
Every game, coaches look for kids who act like great teammates, not just the top scorers.
- Step 2
Game day award
Winners get a Teammate of the Week certificate and a Teamwork water bottle.
- Step 3
Shoutout
They snap a photo at the Teammate of the Week sign and get featured on our Facebook and Instagram.
Their big moment
Kids light up when they hear their name. They walk over to the Teammate of the Week sign, hold up their certificate and new water bottle, and get their picture taken.
Every photo goes up on our Facebook and Instagram, so family and friends can cheer them on too.
- Certificate
- Teamwork water bottle
- Photo at the sign
- Social media shoutout

What coaches look for
It's not about scoring the most. It's about playing sports the right way.
Respect
For teammates, opponents, coaches and refs.
Sportsmanship
Win or lose, they play the right way.
Helping others
Picking up a teammate, on the field or off it.
Listening
Tuned in to coaches and ready to learn.
Fairness
Taking turns and playing by the rules.
Sharing
Passing the ball and sharing the spotlight.
Staying positive
Good attitude, even on a tough day.

Life skills, not just sports skills.
Being a good teammate carries into school, friendships and everything else. We want kids to learn that early, and feel proud of it.
